Eleven years after its foundation, the International Institute of World Music has just reached a decisive milestone by being accredited by UNESCO for its work in safeguarding humanity’s intangible cultural heritage! Music, dance, crafts… from 10 to 22 October, come and discover an incredible diversity of cultural treasures worth preserving, meet legendary custodians of knowledge and be moved by the sounds of music from all over the world, through a rich programme of events across Aubagne, Marseille and Aix-en-Provence.

• WORKSHOPS, MASTERCLASSES & OPEN DAY! •
During twelve days, the IIMM will organise introductory workshops and masterclasses, as well as free activities for all ages in Aubagne: Mongolian poetry, songs and writing, knucklebones games, instrument-making, meetings with local craftspeople, musical strolls… as well as an open day and public performances resulting from the masterclasses and workshops, also completely free of charge.
